What lies beneath, giant cupcake craft using outdoor clear repair tape.

I made these giant cupcake decorations with some dollar store buckets and foam noodles. I tried using hot glue to hold the noodles together but I had to sit there and hold a small section together until the glue completely cooled and hardened. I grabbed some outdoor repair tape because it is some really tough stuff. I held the entire foam top together with it. I still went back and used some hot glue in a few places. But several days later and still holding.
