High performance combined with superior strength To ensure Scotch® Box Sealing Tape 355 would stand up to demanding packaging applications, our design engineers combined a thick biaxially oriented polyester backing with a hot melt synthetic rubber resin adhesive to create a tape with high adhesion, tensile strength and elongation at break. It complies with environmental considerations of ASTM D1974-92 and meets CID A-A-1684B and ASTM D5486 Type III. The tape is water-resistant per ASTM D5570.
